La Valencia Maternity Session | Mike and Elke

These are my new sweet friends, Mike and Elke! We met in Maui ohhhhing and ahhhing at turtles in Napili last year! We found out we lived relatively close and just hit it off right away and couldn’t wait to connect in SD! I never thought of doing anything other than a Wedding at The Valencia Hotel and I just love it! There was barely any traffic and we were able to start there and finish by the beautiful Seals off the beach of La Jolla! Their choice of apparel was subtle and yet dressed things up just a bit! They complimented the areas they were in which I think is SO important when shopping for your session! They kept it simple and neutral which photographed beautifully! The staff of the hotel were SO accommodating making me want to shout out their business from the rooftops! This evening was not only beautiful in weather conditions but Mike and Elke were truly able to be in the moment, soaking up this precious time that they’ve waited so patiently for. I’m excited to share their Newborn Session with you as well as their little is now 4 months old, AHH!! Time is just flying by. I hope you enjoy!
