3 Reasons to Have an Engagement Session | San Diego Wedding Photographer

Friends! Happy Wedding Wednesday! I just wanted to share a few brief reasons why having an Engagement Session is worth your while! Several people go back and forth, wondering if it’s needed. Hopefully these are a few fresh ideas that give you something to consider!

“I’m Awkward in photos, you have your work cut out for you!”

Literally everyone says this. This is actually a major reason why you should have an engagement session. It prepares you for what the Wedding Day will be like. It gives you a chance to connect further with your chosen Wedding Photographer, and you can see how they work!

“I want photos to decorate at my Bridal Shower and for my Guest Book at the Wedding!”

Another GREAT reason. Having these images for say your local newspaper {do people do that anymore?!} to announce, or to decorate the treat or present table at your shower. You’ll also have your favorite images to print on canvas displayed by the table chart at the wedding, adding that personal touch. Then you’ll have those to display in your home RIGHT away!

“I’m SO exhausted from all the wedding planning and all the details.”

GET OUT! Get your hair and makeup trail….get a cute new outfit and make a DATE of it! Have someone telling you to dance, and to kiss, and to play! Then go out for dinner! You’re already dressed up! Make it a whole day! It’s not just an Engagement Session – it’s another actual memory.
