There are some incredible intimate wedding venues in San Diego, and I’m listing just a select few. They are all wonderful, and not one is better than the other. You can’t go wrong with any of them. I give you a list as your style, connection and price point may differ. They all have limited availability so don’t hesitate to reach out to them! 

1. Mt Woodson Castle Wedding Venue

Driving up to this magnificent view, with sun shining through the trees, orange blossoms blooming, the windmill turning with the breeze, you’ll instantly get struck with that “this is it” feeling. It’s a mix of elegant and old, with the most stunning landscape. Not only is it picturesque on all sides, but the venue coordinators are kind, helpful and responsive! Especially in an uncertain time as this, they have pivoted, continuing to run in the ways they are able, and have shown up for their clients and vendors. Mt Woodson castle is a top choice for your intimate Wedding this year!

2. Tom Ham’s Lighthouse Wedding Venue

I’m partial to this place as they helped my clients when their previous venue canceled on them, during the pandemic. Tom Ham’s weddings and events has made it happen, and with kindness and efficiency! The food is delicious, the ceremony space is right on the water, and the location is near multiple wonderful hotels for your stay! I’m a big fan of Tom Ham’s Lighthouse, not only for the way they run their business, and treat their clients, but for how they hold the same standard with their vendors! This location is a no-brainer to me!

3. Tower 23 

This is a new venue to me, but I photographed a wedding there in 2020, and it was incredible! For a more urban and costal feel, this is the perfect SoCal Wedding Venue! Tower 23 strictly followed the restrictions, and yet they made it happen with ease and beauty. I’m obsessed with the cement in the wedding reception space, and there are endless photo opportunities surrounding, and even a drive or a Lyft away! The hotel rooms are stunning, with perfect contrast for getting ready photos. The staff was beyond accommodating, not only to the clients but to the vendors as well, which says a lot about a business. Don’t let the fact that this is right by the main PB strip fool you, it’s a five star wedding venue to me, with prime access to the sunset!
