Happy Anniversary Grant & Melissa!
It’s been one year since this incredible couple has wed at Green Gables Garden Estate! A little behind in blogging! The neat part about connecting with the happy couple, in a non-creepy sense, is following their lives over social media post, seeing their joys, their love for family, one-another, and praying for their hurts.
When I heard Melissa wanted to do a first look with her future Grandma I knew she was my kinda person.
Grandma’s for Besties is the BEst, and the fact that it’s her Grooms Grandma just really touched me, and said something about the kind of person Melissa is. When I met Grandma Gwen, she had just seen the Bride. Her smile was from ear to ear. She herself was stunning. When I counted to three for a picture of them she yelled “Sex!” What a total firecracker! Grant also walked Grandma Gwen down the isle and it was the sweetest thing.
Why am I sharing about this goodness?! First of all it’s adorable and hilarious, but also because she’s sadly not with us anymore. She’s a fighter and a wonderful gift to her family, but is now loving them from above.
I know Grant and Melissa will look over their images with joy in their hearts and some sadness too. I know they have more memories captured to treasure. Come fire, picture with Grandma Gwen it is. These memories aren’t just being captured but connections, relationships, updated images with the ones you love in their last healthy time. I’m so thankful I got to meet such an absolute gem.
This wedding day.
From the beginning it was tender moments. From gifts received, to first looks with parents, to religious traditions, to a saved VM that Grant left after he had a the first date? Or asking Melissa out on a date, I’ll have to verify, but the toasts were just my favorite. Lastly, the Groom rolled up his sleeves and ROCKed out to his Bride and it was unlike anything I’ve seen! PS you have to check him out and go see him if you have the chance ( The Playlist OC ). Their details were prime and their vendors were wonderful to work with. Check Ryan Films SD video at the end! I hope you enjoy, and I’m SO thankful for those who see the value in getting these moments, memories and PEOPle captured. It’s the heart of why I do what I do. Time is so short. Hug the ones you love, tell them you love them, and then cheers to Grant and Melissa, may this one year turn to an incredible forever years of love.
