When my clients email me saying they want a photo shoot, but they really want their dog included, is that ok?! Um the answer is YES, PLEase!

Are you comfortable with Dogs?

I grew up with dogs, big and little. I don’t have one now but I was taught how to interact with them, the general commands and I’m extremely comfortable around them! Not to mention I’m obsessed and I want one SO badly so it’s wonderful for all parties!

Dogs make for such INCredible candid captures. It may take more time away from photographing, trying to get them to cooperate, however it’s completely worth it!

How long of a Session should I book if I have my dog? 

This is entirely up to you! You know your Dog! Generally, if your dog is really well behaved in public places, and trained, we should be able to get plenty of captures within a Mini! If your dog can someone’s be unpredictable, I’d shoot for an hour so you don’t miss out on captures, you’d otherwise get!

This couple! I’ve already met their darling son, and I’m so happy for them! Their Maternity Session at Windandsea was just PRIme. And I pretty much fell in love with their dog, Apollo!
